Much of the story is about JJ and the men working towards and having sex. The relationship between the four characters moves along at a nice pace and keeps the story flowing. All three of the men are sexy but do not seem to have much personality to them.
She seems to constantly switch between being extremely naive to a smart woman. At the start JJ comes off more as a sarcastic teen than a woman. I enjoyed the premise of the story, but the characters did not have a lot of depth for me. Will JJ finally find the peace and happiness that she longs for? This is a sweet story that gives listeners a chance to root for love. When she is surprised and given a work furlough type of release, she finds herself on a secluded ranch with three sexy men. Spending so many years in prison JJ never thought that she would ever get out or even find any kind of happy ever after.
